Welcome to the 2024-25 Academic Year!

Welcome to the 2024-25 Academic Year!

Welcome (back) to campus from all of us at ACT! We are excited to start another academic year and already have so much going on.

In September 2024, we welcomed 130 ±Ø³Ô´ó¹Ïfreshmen in the Class of 2028, 310 NUin freshmen, and 68 Study Abroad students! It's so great getting to see new faces on campus.

We've also kicked off our fall field trips and clubs. Students have visited Mt. Olympus and Armenistis Beach, participated in scuba, hiking, and canyoning activities, and even completed a three-day sailing trip. Field trips are a great way to see more of Greece, meet new people, and gain once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Another way to get involved on campus is by taking part in any of the 20+ clubs we are offering this fall! Interested in yoga? Kickboxing? Painting? ±Ø³Ô´ó¹Ïhas many ways for students to get involved in mind, body, and spirit-enriching activities. We'd especially like to highlight some of our new clubs, made possible by students' and faculty's passion and hard work. For the first time, we offer Archery, Cybersecurity, New Languages, and Photography clubs on campus.

Students explored these activities and more at our Activities Fair on September 23 and 24. This was our biggest Fair yet, with 400+ sign-ups across clubs. Students had the opportunity to meet advisors and learn more about resources like Career Services, Counseling, and Service Learning. The Fair also showcased our fall sports—±Ø³Ô´ó¹Ïis offering varsity and open practices for volleyball, basketball, soccer, and lacrosse!

We're proud to have worked with the Dukakis Center for Politics to host a Voter Event this fall. It's great to see everyone coming out to take part in not only their campus community but also to take steps to be responsible citizens in their larger communities.

Thank you for a great start to the semester, and looking forward to the rest of the year.
